Using meat sourced directly from Bingham’s Farm, this is the perfect class for enthusiasts, culinary adventurers, and anyone eager to try something new in the kitchen.

During this exclusive two-hour course, our expert butcher, Nathan Bingham, will guide you through initial prep to final cuts — providing you with valuable insight on how to select the right knives, identify the best cuts of meat, and utilize the best practices for precision and efficiency.

What to expect:

  • Live Demonstration:
    Watch as we demonstrate the art of butchering with half a hog — showcasing techniques for carving out roasts, chops, and other delicious cuts as well as the process behind making a brat.
  • Knife Showcase:
    We’ll provide five high-quality knives for the demonstration and highlight their specific uses as well as care tips. After the class, knives will be available for purchase for $32 each, allowing you to equip yourself with what the professionals use.
  • Fresh Meats:
    Enjoy freshly made brats and chops throughout the demonstration, and get a taste of the quality that comes from expertly cut meat.
